ABC Contractor Discusses Negative Impact of Project Labor Agreements with Fox Business Channel

Brett McMahon of Miller & Long Concrete (Washington, DC) discusses the negative impact of project labor agreements (PLAs) and President Obama’s Executive Order 13502 on construction businesses with Fox Business Channel’s 9/3 “Happy Hour” program.

Miller & Long is the largest concrete contractor in the U.S. and was named the number one concrete construction company in the United States by ENR magazine. Miller & Long is listed as number 11 out of the top 600 specialty contractors in the United States by ENR magazine.  Since 1947, Miller & Long has completed more than $5 billion in contracts and poured over 12 million cubic yards of concrete.

The bottom line is that Brett McMahon knows the construction industry and is a credible opponent of discriminatory and costly PLAs.  Miller & Long is one of thousands of qualified contractors that will be discouraged from competing for federal construction projects subject to PLAs under President Obama’s Executive Order 13502.
